On May 4, 2013 “CINCO DE MAYO” The Central Valley Music Group in Association with EHP Latino is presenting what has become one of the hottest and most talked about Annual Latin Festivals in the Central Valley, the 6th ANNUAL HOT LATIN NIGHTS MUSIC FESTIVAL & CAR SHOW.  This event Features Legendary Latin, Hispanic & Chicano based bands, Malo, Latin Essence, Valley Rhythm Section, Mellow Man Ace, Cazal Organism, Element Band, and The Cartel Band will be performing on our MEGA 100 STAGE.

Hot Latin Nights is an indoor/outdoor event at the Promenade in Manteca, California 934 Perimeter Drive.  For sponsorship or group sales call 1.877.237.8013. This event is very unique because we will attract Latin, Afro/Caribbean, RNB, Funk, Soul, Rockabilly, Banda, Old School Tejano music fans.

Malo's 1972 Top 20 hit single, "Suavecito," was written by timbale player Richard Bean, who initially wrote it as a poem for a girl in his high school algebra class. The song has been called "The Chicano National Anthem" and was arranged for Malo by Richard Bean, bassist Pablo Tellez, and Abel Zarate. Tellez and Zarate also received co-author credits on "Suavecito". Guitarist Abel Zarate gave Malo a distinctive two-guitar sound with intricate harmony and dual solos the norm. The band featured full horn and percussion sections in the style of contemporary bands Blood, Sweat & Tears and Chicago. Some of the best musicians in the Bay Area were featured in Malo, including Forrest Buchtel, Jr., Ron Smith, Paul C Saenz, Luis Gasca, and Tom Harrell in the trumpet section. Malo's music was also hugely popular in Central and South America, especially the songs "Chevere", "Nena", "Pana", "Cafe" and "Oye Mama".

The estimated attendance for this event will be between 5000 to 7500.  Demographically, the event is very CROSS CULTURAL we attract thousands of MATURE MUSIC FANS from the Central Valley, Bay Area, Fresno and Sacramento regions.  These events also attract vendors and local business owners as well as local and regional community leaders.

A portion of all ticket proceeds will benefit 2 separate Non Profit Groups
